Biography
I am a second-career attorney, representing clients in consumer disputes. I like to take a collaborative approach with my clients to understand their goals so we can come up with a plan for how to achieve those goals.
I am originally from Nebraska but I have lived many places around the country, including North Carolina, Arizona, Kansas, Michigan, and Colorado. I received a Bachelor of Sciences in Technology with an emphasis in Automotive Service Management and a minor in Spanish from Pittsburg State University. After undergrad, I ran two Firestone stores in the Kansas City area. I then worked for Ford Motor Company as a field service engineer, covering southeast Michigan, northwest Ohio, Montana, and northern Idaho.
I attended law school at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and graduated in 2015. During law school, I interned for the Honorable Charles M. Pratt in Arapahoe County and Honorable Robert L. McGahey Jr. in Denver. After law school, I was an associate attorney at Kishinevsky & Raykin prior to opening a law firm with Katie Newell. While there, I handled family law, employment law, discrimination and civil rights, personal injury and workers' compensation cases, probate matters, and business law.
I bring a wealth of automotive and warranty knowledge to my practice. We are a small firm, and we want to do business on your terms. I am a dedicated husband and father, and I understand the scheduling conflicts you have in meeting with an attorney.
